On Maggie's Book series. (incomplete)
Feb. 3rd, 2014 03:15 pmSo as I have mentioned before Maggie is a writer. She's currently writing a YA series that has become pretty popular under the pen name of Didi Raines Thus far the only things I've said in-game is that it is largely a sci-fi series two books in, and that there was some recent controversy when it was revealed that the protagonist was a lesbian or bisexual near the end of the second book.
I've been trying to figure out what the plot actually is but the difficult part is that by trying to make something original, I feel like I would need to go into very intimate detail to make it something people could comment on if they wished. I would not really be able to do that since that would involve doing a shitton of writing so what I've decided to do is base it loosely on an already created story.
The series I picked is Pendragon by D. J Machale which seemed like a safe bet since I've never even met someone else who has read it, much less played from it. Maggie's books will resemble these in setting, and basic premise sans the 'big baddie'. You can read about it here though I will provide short summaries of Maggie's books below.

Dec. 2nd, 2013 07:15 amSince Maggie has lived her whole life in Locke City it's possible she has run into some other people before. So if anyone would be interested in having some CR already set up with her let me know! Some things that might have made our characters cross paths:
~ She owns a used bookstore / tea shop called the Winding Way. Not very big, but cozy.
~ She attend school and college here, majored in Linguistics and Lit.
~ Honestly in general she is very outgoing and friendly and just a great person to go to go advice or a listening ear
~ Prob goes to the gym a lot too, or at least runs / bikes a lot.
~ She's published two fictional books, part of a fantasy series. I'm still meshing out details but they are fairly popular YA but have recently become controversial when the main character was hinted to possibly be a lesbian.
~ SHE'S A BIG DORK WHO LIKES ANIME AND VIDEO GAMES AND TV SHOWS AND MOVIES. ALL THOSE BIG FANDOMS SHE IS PROBABLY INTO.
~ So needless to say she internets a lot so she prob has a number of people she knows through forums or MMOs or Steam.
~ Honestly I could see her have been part of a LARPing club when she was youngerand maybe still if there are any 20+ characters out there that would be interested
~ OTHER THINGS
